The Munster Open 2024 proved to be a landmark event, showcasing the remarkable growth and competitive spirit of judo in the region. With 200 entries this yearâthe highest everâthe tournament brought together judoka from across Munster, demonstrating impressive skill, sportsmanship, and dedication to the sport. Congratulations to all the players who competed brilliantly, and to the podium finishers who earned well-deserved medals.

To Andy, Brian, Una, Damian, and everyone at Cork City Judo Club, thank you for hosting and supporting the event. The layout was exceptional, and your volunteers ensured a flawless wrap-up by 3:45 PM. đ
A huge thank you also goes to our referees  and table personnel, who handled the dayâs pressures with professionalism, ensuring a smooth and fair competition.
