Joe O’Flynn RIP
The Executive Committee, members and staff of the Irish Judo Association send their deepest condolences to the IJA President Ms Sylvia O’Flynn on the passing of her father Joe O’Flynn. We extend our deepest sympathies to Sylvia and her family at this time.
O’Flynn (Woodlands, Grange Road and Kinsale Community Hospital, Cork) On December 26th 2024, peacefully surrounded by his loving family and in the tender care of the Staff at Mercy University Hospital, Joe beloved husband of the late Kay and dear father of Sylvia and Brian, brother of the late Liam. Sadly missed by his loving family, grandchildren Méadhbh, Liam, Áine Sümer, Ciarán and Ciara Ebru son-in-law Ray, daughter-in-law Canan, sisters Phil and Marie, brother Frank, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at Sullivans Funeral Home, Turners Cross on Friday (27th) from 2.00pm until 3.00pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday (28th) at 10.00am in Church of the Incarnation, Frankfield, funeral afterwards to St. Finbarr’s Cemetery.
