The Irish Judo Association High Performance squad is currently participating in the Valencia Olympic Training Camp (OTC), an important stage in preparing for the next block of competitions.
Athletes Joshua Green, Bearach Gleeson, and Robin Lowry are among those representing Ireland at the camp. Following their recent training block in Japan, this OTC provides a valuable opportunity to train and spar with top European judoka — an essential part of building competition readiness ahead of the Skopje European Cup in September.
The OTC not only strengthens the athletes’ technical and tactical skills but also ensures exposure to a broad range of international fighting styles, critical for success on the European and world stage.
