John Creaven – RIP
The Executive Committee, the judo office and members of the Irish Judo Association wish to extend their condolences to the Creaven Family & Galway Judo Club on the death of Mr John Creaven. John was an iconic figure in Irish Judo, his love of the sport spanned decades & he will be greatly missed. We send our deepest sympathies to his wife Brid, his children Ann-Marie, Ross, Orla and Barry, his grandchild Mara, his extended family and his judo family in Galway Judo Club and the wider Galway community.
Funeral Details
Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway on Friday, 1st February from 3 p.m. with Removal to St. Mary’s Church, The Claddagh to arrive at 6.30 p.m. Requiem Mass on Saturday, 2nd February at 11 a.m. Funeral after Mass to Rahoon Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Donations in memory of John to Cancer Care West. House private.
