The Irish Judo Association are saddened to hear of the passing of Juergen Klinger.
Juergen was instrumental in assisting Ciaran Ward as a High-Performance coach in the run up to the Tokyo Olympics 2020 (2021) and was personal coach to Ben & Megan Fletcher with Bath University. Juergen attended with Ciaran as part of the coaching team at the Tokyo Olympics 2020.
All at the Irish Judo Association would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to Juergen Klinger’s family and friends. We also extend our sympathies to Megan and Ben Fletcher, who we know are deeply saddened at the loss of their friend and coach.
