John Rogan – RIP
The Executive Committee, the Judo Office and members of the Irish Judo Association wish to extend their condolences to the Rogan family on the passing of John Rogan on the 11th February 2022 who participated in Judo in Ireland in the 1960’s and 1970’s. John was originally from Co Tyrone and practiced judo in Strabane and Derry. Terry Watt has wonderful memories of John being a gentle giant with a keen sense of humour. John represented Northern Ireland in Judo in the 1960’s and went on to be a supporter and spectator at the 2002 World Veterans in the Templemore Sports Complex in Derry.
