Terry Stokes – RIP
The Executive Committee, the Judo Office and members of the Irish Judo Association wish to extend their condolences to the Stokes family, his wife Mary, daughters Anne and Judy, sons Shane, Jason and Stephen on the passing of Terry Stokes formerly of Coolmine Judo Club, Dublin. Terry was coach to the junior boys & girls in Coolmine Judo Club in the 1980’s & 1990’s and also served on the National Grading Commission of the Irish Judo Association.
The IJA office received a lovely tribute from a current member noting Terry ‘was instrumental in instilling a love of Judo in many kids and great man for boosting the self confidence in those he coached’.
Funeral Details
Reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Ballygall Road West on Thursday, 12th March 2020, between 4pm and 5.30pm. Service to celebrate his life in Dardistown Crematorium Chapel on Friday, 13th March 2020, at 10am.
