The Connacht Judo Championships 2023 will take place on Saturday 21st October, this event is closed to Connacht Clubs only.

To continue the success of last year, we will have the Club Shield to award to the Club who scores highest on the awards list, rules for this are the same as last year.
There will also be an award for Best Male and Female Judoka on the day and also best Throw.
At the Connacht Championships this year in the Minors and Pre Cadet Categories, Judoka that win Gold and Silver from the categories TBC by Interpro Committee will be put forward to represent Connacht in the first Interpros Competition in 2024.
The players who earn their position on the Interpros Connacht Team must also commit to attend all Connacht Squad Sessions in preparation for the Interpros.
Also this year the Connacht Squad plan to bring a Connacht Team to the NI Open 2024 and also plan to bring that team to a UK event after that, this team will be selected based on their overall achievements in 2023/24 Competitions and their commitment to attend Connacht Squad Sessions also.
