Dear Leinster Clubs,

In accordance with the Company Act and the Irish Judo Association Constitution, notice is hereby given for the Leinster Judo Council AGM 2026. The Meeting will be held at Phibblestown Community Centre, Phibblestown Road, Dublin 15 on the 29th March 2026 at approx. 16h00 (4 pm) following the end of the All-Ireland School Championships.
The Provincial Board for 2026 will consist of the following key roles:
Elections
1.Chairperson
2.Hon Gen Secretary
3.Hon Gen Treasurer
4. 2 Provincial Representatives – each Provincial Region will elect two (2) persons of different gender to sit on the IJA Executive Committee
The Provincial Representatives can hold any of the positions of Provincial Chairperson, Secretary or Treasurer whilst also acting as a Provincial IJA Board Representative.

Standing Order for Annual General Meetings
The meeting will be confined to items on the agenda. Items to be added to the agenda should be requested as resolutions (see below)

Establish a Quorum
Minutes of last meeting
Matters arising
Reports – Council Report
Election of Provincial board
Additional resolutions (see below)

Financial Statements
Financial statements will be provided at the AGM.

Additional Resolutions and Nominations
All resolutions should be made in writing at least 14 days in advance of the meeting. This includes nominations for the compulsory provincial board positions above which should be correctly nominated and seconded by compliant clubs of the province. All nominations and seconds plus any proposed resolutions (nominated and seconded) should be forwarded to the 2 Provincial Representatives & the IJA office in writing to the following email address judoleinter@gmail.com copying admin@irishjudoassociation.ie at least 14 days in advance of this meeting. Save to the extent that the IJA’s constitution provides otherwise, the accidental omission to give notice of a meeting to, or the non-receipt of notice of a meeting by, any person entitled to receive notice shall not invalidate the proceedings at the meeting.
