Resignation of National Squad Manager

Keith Gough has resigned from his role as National Squad Manager. Keith has filled this role for five years and those he has worked with have benefited greatly from his coaching.

There were numerous medals and high level performances during his tenure. Our judoka under his tutelage, had success throughout the UK and Europe. Ireland had qualifiers at the Youth Olympics, Cadet, Junior European and World Championships.

The most recent success came last weekend with Maxim Trigub winning Gold at the Welsh Open at both Junior & Senior u73kg and Bearach Gleeson – still a Cadet, winning Gold at Junior u81kg.

The Irish Judo Association owe Keith a debt of gratitude for his work over the past five years and wish him every success in his future endeavours.
