Sport Ireland Ethics – Safeguarding Refresher Courses Online

A message for IJA Clubs, there is an online refresher course available for Safeguarding 1 through the Sport Ireland Ethics website.

This method of re-certifying Safeguarding 1 is accepted by the Irish Judo Association for those that completed a previous Code of Ethics/Child Protection course. Judo Clubs should be aware that this is only valid for re-certification of the Safeguarding 1 Course. The classroom based course available from local sports partnerships is still required for people who are certifying for Safeguarding 1 for the first time. Designated Persons must attend classroom based course available from local sports partnerships for Safeguarding 3.
