Women in Sport – IJA Coaching Programme – Funded Support
The IJA is looking to establish the IJA/Sport Ireland Coaching Programme for 2022 whilst taking into consideration the current Covid 19 restrictions that are currently in place within the 32 counties. The IJA Women in Sport Programme has funding available to assist girls and women with their coaching journey. With this is mind, if any girl or woman has an interest to undertake a coaching course, please email admin@irishjudoassociation.ie in advance of the 13th January 2022 at 5pm to register to the early courses in January & February 2022.
The following are dates for consideration for each of the Intro, Level 1 & Level 2 courses:

3rd & 4th September Weekend 1, 22nd & 23rd October Weekend 2, 3rd & 4th December Weekend 3

8th & 9th October Weekend 1, 12th & 13th November Weekend 2
It should be noted that all coaching candidates must have a valid Covid 19 vaccination certificate to participate in coaching courses in 2022. A venue has been agreed in advance to host the coaching courses to allow for the classroom & practical elements of the course. The venue is Ashbourne Community School Sports Hall, Ashbourne, Co Meath.
