The Irish Judo Association received a call from RTE Radio 1 last week about participating in a radio programme for RTE Radio 1 dedicated to people who started a new activity or returned to an activity at a ‘later’ stage of their life. Through some gentle persuasion, Michéal Friel from Carraroe Judo Club, who returned to his judo journey last year, participated in the panel discussion with Brendan O’Connor last Saturday the 19th January 2020.
