What a fantastic day at the National Grading on Sunday the 25th February 2024. This was again, one of the biggest turnouts we ever with one short of 80 taking part including 19 females.
A tremendous atmosphere saw eight newly confirmed 1st Dans, this included the amazing Deegan Sisters.
We had three new multi Dan Grade awards (competitive and technical) to top off a great day of judo on Sunday in Phibblestown.
Although Leo Ryan North East Judo Academy won his final points towards 3rd Dan, he will have to wait out his time as a 2nd Dan before he can receive his acknowledgement of his 3rd Dan in October 2024.
The future looks bright for Irish Judo.
