Mr Leo Gibbons, Tournament Director has announced the Leinster Open 2017 scheduled for the 12th November 2017 has been cancelled. Today is the close date for the event with only 25 registered entrants, even based on the promise of entries from some coaches, the anticipated final numbers will not reach 60 entrants.
On that basis, the event cannot be hosted due to insufficient entries. Leo extends his apologies to those that have entered and notes refunds will be issued immediately. The Leinster Judo Council will make a determination next year as to whether the event will be added to the 2018 calendar.
