Congratulations to the following members following their recent promotion at the National Dan Grading held Sunday 11th February 2018 in Phibblestown:

1st Dan

Cathal McNabb – Renbukan Judo Club

David Slupko – Coolmine Judo Club

Joe Naughton – Kodokan Ireland

2nd Dan

Timothy Kelly – Killarney Judo Club

Ciaran Nolan – Coolmine Judo Club

Also successful going for 1st Dan was John Kinsella Jnr from Waterford Judo Club who won 5 fights with Ippon to score Batsugan but elected to do his theory at the next grading and Artur Polanin from Coolmine Judo Club a 1^st Dan, who also won his points for 2^nd Dan but must wait until November 2018 as the required time as a 1^st Dan is one year.
