Rachael Hawkes – Onward and Upward
On Women in Sport Week, we pause to recognize and celebrate the remarkable achievements of our high-performance female athlete, Rachael Hawkes. Rachael stands as one of Ireland’s brightest prospects in judo, showcasing her talent and dedication on the international stage.
Over the past few years, Rachael has represented Team Ireland with pride and distinction, competing in an impressive 30 competitions. Her journey has been marked by numerous successes, including medal wins at prestigious events such as the Yaounde African Open 2021, Dakar African Open 2021, Santo Domingo Panamerican Open 2022, Lima Panamerican Open 2022, Zouk Mikhael Asian Open 2022, Riga Senior European Cup 2023, Montreal Panamerican Open 2023, and most recently, the Warsaw European Open 2024.
